The album was first released in Canada (November 1991) and France (May 1992). In 1994, Dion chante Plamondon was released in the rest of the world becoming Dion's first French album available worldwide. It was released with four different cover pictures.
Jordi Savall has brought us yet another treasure on his own Alia Vox label, this time a mixed bag of music by Reformation Era composers and a handful of slightly earlier works. It’s all taken from a concert program Savall gave last year under the aegis of “greatest hits of the court of Charles V”. The composers presented are mostly court musicians for that Holy Roman Emperor, but Josquin and Heinrich Isaac also are included, the latter as a nod to Charles’ grandfather, Maximilian I, who was responsible for getting Charles the crown. Savall combines his first-rate instrumental ensemble, updated to Hespèrion XXI, with his own vocal group, La Capella Reial de Catalunya. The results are captivating. Savall’s musicians are tops in the field, and their collective talents, constantly on display in this varied program, are simply a joy to hear.
Logos was born in 1996 as an italian progressive rock band, playing mainly Le Orme and Banco. The band recorded in 1999 "LogoS", in the 2001 "Asrava", in 2014 "L'enigma della vita", a Logos' milestone.
Still helmed by the incredible Luca Zerman on lead vocals as well as keys, aided and abetted by fellow ivory man Claudio Antolini, as well as devilish bassman Fabio Gaspari, who doubles on guitar, mandolin and vocals and adding terrific drummer Alessandro Perbellini. The album has a theme focused on a Japanese legend, an artistic style known as Origami and combining that with history, namely Hiroshima, through the eyes of a little girl Sadako, victim of the radiation released by the A-bomb. The cover and artwork are once again highly evocative and drenched in artistic flair and melancholia.

Patrick Fiori, born in 1969 in Marseille, is a pop singer who rose to prominence through his performance in the successful musical Notre Dame de Paris and on "Belle," the hit single it spawned. This song, a collaboration with co-stars Daniel Lavoie and Garou, topped the French charts for many weeks in 1998, paving the way for a more financially viable recording career than Fiori's previous albums (1994's Puisque C'est l'Heure and 1995's Le Coeur a l'Envers) had seemed to suggest.
