Mylène Farmer 2019 is a concert residency by French singer Mylène Farmer at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. It began on June 7, 2019 and concluded on June 22, 2019…
2015 release, the 10th studio album by French singer, songwriter and pop culture icon Mylène Farmer. Interstellaires was produced by The Avener and Martin Kierszenbaum. Includes the single 'Stolen Car', a duet with British rock veteran Sting. This version of the much-loved Sting track has been completely reimagined by producer, The Avener. In the span of her 30-year career, French superstar, Mylène Farmer has sold over 11 million albums worldwide, released nine studio albums and six live albums, all of which reached diamond status in France. Mylène is the first female artist in history to sell out the 80,000 capacity "Stade de France" two nights in a row. On her last arena tour, Mylène's tickets were sold out a full year in advance. She has cultivated her fervently loyal fan base through consummate songwriting, classic melodies and ground-breaking videos.
It is the third best-of by Mylène Farmer, after les mots (published in 2001) and 2001-2011 (published in 2011). As with these two records, Histoires de is dressed in a particularly sophisticated visual, due to Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who had already signed the cover of disobedience in 2018. The assured posture of Mylène Farmer gives way here to a mysterious figure, a dark silhouette where only her look and her Albator haircut appear in the open. This compilation is divided into three separate parts, which respect a certain chronology.
Bleu noir is the eighth studio album by French Star singer Mylène Farmer, released 6 December 2010. Farmer's label set up a web site to promote the album on 3 November 2010. For some of her fans this album is a return to her roots. It has drawn favorable comparisons to Innamoramento and also the albums prior to Anamorphosée. This album seems to depict the artist as a woman at her prime, confident in her achievements and able to express herself without sacrificing her integrity. Farmer has written the lyrics and Moby, Archive and RedOne have composed the music for the album. Bleu noir is Farmer's first studio album since 1991's L' Autre to outperform its predecessor in terms of national sales.
L'Emprise (English: Control) is the twelfth studio album by French recording artist Mylène Farmer, released on 25 November 2022 by Stuffed Monkey. The album was produced by Yoann Lemoine, AaRON and Moby, among others. Described as a return to the darker instrumentation of her earlier records, L'Emprise is a concept album which deals with a person who is under psychological manipulation and breaks free from it. L'Emprise received positive reviews from music critics, with many noting it as a return to form for Farmer. Commercially, the album was successful, achieving the gold status in France within the first week of its release. The album also peaked at number one in France, Wallonia, and Switzerland, making it Farmer's first release to do so. The album spawned three singles: "À tout jamais", "Rayon Vert" featuring French duo AaRON, and "Rallumer les étoiles." To further support the album, Farmer will embark on the Nevermore 2023 tour, her first tour since 2019 and the first one to play completely in stadiums.
