Mylene Farmer D'un Autre Part

I'm a Fan since I listened the superalbum "Live in Bercy", today one of the best live albums of the ninties. I'm in disagreement with the opinion that Anamorphosee is a despite, absolutely!!. These are my reasons:
-After 3 very good albums (Cendres de Lune, Ainsi soit je and the celebrated L'autre), in this work Mylene made a really change in her music, leaving a music predominantly electronic with synthetizers in the 90% of the songs to a music more intelligent, more complex, more sweet and more contribution of musicians increasing the level of quality. All the songs are different with a rich variety of rhytms and melody and the same time all the album have the same concept. Mylene sing more beautiful than ever, using different tones of voice (this is the only one) always excellent.

All Mylène's products is of the highest quality and this DVD is certainly no exception. The music itself ranges from hard rock to soft techno and from new age to traditional french song form. The sound quality is excellent and perfectly mixed so that Mylène's deliciously sweet and enchanting vocals are always to the fore. Mylène's ability to focus and project herself make her a peerless performer.

I've been a big fan of Mylene's since 1995 and have all her albums. The combination of her visually stunning and emotionally-charged concerts, the poignant and thought-provoking lyrics and themes of her songs, the stunning images of her vidoes, and the wonderful, dynamic and driving arrangements of her music (produced by Laurent Boutannat) has made her my all-time fave artist. This latest release is different from her last studio album Anamorphosee and more akin to her previous albums, but it is much more optimistic in its themes and music. I have to admit that she can produce this kind of album in her sleep, it's so engaging but very much in her style. My favourite tracks? 'Dessine-Moi Un Mouton', and 'Consentement'. This is not my most favourite album (L'Autre is) which shows how brilliant she is. If you're looking for a new direction in music and want to expand your tastes, then I can only highly recommend Mylene Farmer.
