On his fourth album with Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Slash delivers what he describes as their most spontaneous collaboration yet. The perpetually top-hatted guitarist brings some of his inimitable Guns N’ Roses grit to lead single “The River Is Rising” while unleashing hooky, soaring hard rock on “Call Off the Dogs.” Elsewhere, the sentimental “Fill My World” might seem like it’s about a romantic relationship between humans, but Kennedy actually wrote the lyrics from the perspective of his beloved Shih Tzu, Mozart.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators is quite a mouthful for a band and World on Fire is quite a handful for an album. World on Fire stretches on and on, weighing in at 17 tracks, which is just one song longer than Use Your Illusion I, but where that record gained momentum (not to mention identity) through its mess, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators gives the impression that they continue recording because they simply don't know when they're done…

Since Myles Kennedy first mentioned the idea of a solo album back in 2009, fans have been anxiously awaiting what the Alter Bridge frontman would come up with. Now the weight of anticipation has finally been lifted as Kennedy has revealed that his solo debut, Year of the Tiger, will be released on March 9 through Napalm Records.

Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are set to release a new concert film and live album. The Living the Dream Tour captures the band’s incendiary performance on their sold-out 2019 tour, in front of a rabid crowd at London’s legendary Hammersmith Apollo. Released through Eagle Vision, it’s set to be released on DVD+2CD, Blu-ray+2 CD, 3LP Black Vinyl, limited edition 3LP Red Vinyl, digital video and digital audio, on 20 September.

Slash first collaborated with Myles Kennedy when the singer was one of many guests on 2010's Slash album. In the years since, the duo have become bandmates, and their creative partnership continued over the course of two more solo albums. Along with Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz and Frank Sidoris (aka The Conspirators), they've release Apocalyptic Love and World on Fire, and the band improves with each release.
