The wonderful Nana Mouskouri comes with its Happy Birthday Tour for six concerts in Germany and Austria, to celebrate together with their audience their continued for 50 years of success! With the classic White Rose of Athens Nana Mouskouri became overnight a celebrated star. With countless hits like Outside door songs that writes love and Good morning sunshine built it from their success and received more than 300 gold and platinum records. With more than 250 million CDs sold them is to Madonna the most successful female singer in the world. She worked together with other stars like Harry Belafonte and Quincy Jones, and took great jazz albums in New York. As part of their Nana Mouskouri Happy Birthday Tour 2014, the Greek singer will present their greatest classics.

Birthday Suite is a collection of 12 metaphorical birthday songs created by Kody Nielson, whose music is like a cross between Jazzanova, 4Hero, and Cornelius. Or maybe not. Flying Nun are the sacred people behind this fest.

Countless anthologies exist containing material from John Coltrane's considerably prolific 19-month (May 31, 1956 — December 31, 1958) association with Prestige Records. Particularly the all-inclusive, 16-disc Prestige Recordings (1991) box set. As most others are either too short or aimed specifically at one facet of the artist's output, few have truly been able to capture as wide a spectrum as this extremely thrifty three-CD compilation. The contents are presented in a primarily chronological fashion, appropriately commencing with "Tenor Madness" hailing off of a confab between Coltrane (tenor sax) and Sonny Rollins. One selection that isn't found on the Prestige Recordings is "Airegin" from the John Coltrane and the Jazz Giants (1956) get together, furthering the practically indispensable nature of 75th Birthday Celebration for the casual and hardcore listener alike. Entries in which Coltrane was a guest or co-lead include selections off of Interplay for 2 Trumpets and 2 Tenors ("Soul Eyes"), The Cats ("Eclypso"), Dakar ("Route 4"), Cattin' with Coltrane and Quinichette ("Vodka") and as a guest on the Mal Waldron project The Dealers ("Blue Calypso"). Granted, there are a few glaring omissions — such as "Super Jet," "Slowtrane," "Two Bass Hit,""Stardust," and "The Believer." However, all told, even the most scholarly Coltrane enthusiasts would have to be impressed with the variety found on Coltrane's 75th Birthday Celebration.

Nana Mouskouri - eine Legende feiert 90. Geburtstag. Um diesen besonderen Anlass zu würdigen erscheint am 11.10.2024 die Compilation "Happy Birthday, Nana" mit ihren schönsten Hits. Ein ganz besonderes Geburtstaggeschenk hält das Royal Philharmonic Orchestra für die Künstlerin im Rahmen dieser Hit-Compilation bereit - drei ihrer größten Erfolge "Weiße Rosen aus Athen", "Guten Morgen Sonnenschein" und "Ave Maria" wurden vom Royal Philharmonic Orchestra neu arrangiert und eingespielt und sie erstrahlen nun in symphonischem Sound. Damit aber nicht genug - auch Nana Mouskouri hat sich auf diesem Album einen Wunsch erfüllt und den Titel " Pios échi Dakria" zum ersten Mal aufgenommen. We recorded Hans Theessink’s legendary Birthday Bash concerts at the Metropol in Vienna 2023 and 2024. Fans and musical lovers came from all over Europe and North America to celebrate Hans’ birthday (5 April). The atmosphere was splendid – Hans and his musical colleagues took us on a marvelous musical journey – handmade music at its best.

Quand Johnny se présente face à la foule du Parc de Sceaux le jour même de son anniversaire, il sait que ce concert ne sera pas comme les autres. Les nombreux artistes présents sur scène ou backstage sont là pour le lui rappeler.
Mais c’est surtout les « joyeux anniversaire » chantés par son public tout au long de la soirée qui donnent à ce live toute sa saveur.Au final du tour de chant sur « Non, je ne regrette rien » la communion entre l’artiste et ses milliers de fans est totale.Quelques minutes plus tôt Johnny les conjurait de mettre en pratique ces mots importants de Michel Berger sur sa chanson Aimer vivre : « Si c’est ton corps qui bouge c’est ton cœur qui fait tout ».
Ce soir-là Johnny et son public se retrouvait une nouvelle fois pour témoigner ensemble de cette amitié qui les accompagne depuis le début des années 60.
