The Starchaser project is the work of three guys who have been working a long time in the independent dance musical scene.

They are Daniele Cannizzaro, Thomas Schwartz and Fausto Fanizza.

In April 2005 Daniele Cannizzaro left the group.

Urban Myth Club follow up the commercial success and critical acclaim of their bestseller debut Helium with an edgier, epic and hotly anticipated album. Open Up sees Urban Myth Club duo Mark Desvaux and producer/samplist Ian Sanderson return with their intense electro beats and swirling, cinematic melodies fused with stunning female vocals.

In case you missed it whilst quietly avoiding the very incessant and annoying Academy Award spoilers, iconic Aussie indie-rockers The Temper Trap released their first bit of new music in four years. “Thick As Thieves” picks up right where the Melbourne band’s self-titled sophomore effort left off, with its brooding guitar lines, haunting vocal displays and pulsing percussive movements. Again choosing to focus on soaring choruses, the lads new LP is sure to be a barnstorming affair filled with rampant sing-alongs. Welcome back boys.

Of all the dance-punk revivalists, !!! has been the most consistently interesting and challenging, not to mention the group most likely to fill the dancefloor on indie rock night. While their previous album, the political and righteous Louden Up Now, was good enough to vault them to the level of the bands that inspired them (Gang of Four, the Pop Group, Liquid Liquid), Myth Takes firmly establishes them there.

Various writers and reviewers have tried their best to categorize the sound of London's United Vibrations using terms like Afrobeat or jazz. However, this unique group may be best described by the feelings their music instills instead of through a genre classification. Call it spiritual, or call it vibrations, for that matter. Vibrations for the sound waves produced by their instruments and voices as well as for the emotions that it stirs from within.
