After hiding his loot and getting thrown in jail, Ruby, a brooding outlaw encounters Quentin, a dim-witted and garrulous giant who befriends him. After Quentin botches a solo escape attempt, they make a break together. Unable to shake the clumsy Quentin Ruby is forced to take him along as he pursues his former partners in crime to avenge the death of the woman he loved and get to the money before they do.

Bien que marié, il s'éprend de la jeune femme et puise dans son existence tourmentée la matière d'un nouveau roman. A famous middle-aged author overcomes his writer's block by befriending a young prostitute and using her shocking life story as an inspiration for his new book. Their relationship grows deeper, eventually affecting his professional commitments and his marriage. There is something keeping her from returning his feelings, though.

Jean-Jacques est un fin cuisinier mais en a assez de son patron qui ne partage pas son goût pour la cuisine exotique. Un dernier reproche sur les nems de canard sera la goutte d'eau qui fait déborder le vase. Jean-Jacques décide de tout plaquer et de créer son propre restaurant alors qu'il n'en a ni les moyens, ni les compétences de gestion. Sa rencontre avec Claude sera déterminante. Celui-ci en a assez d'animer des stages pour créateurs d'entreprise et, emballé par l'énergie de Jean-Jacques, décide de tout plaquer lui aussi pour écrire son premier roman. Tous deux vont s'entraider avec la participation d'un troisième compagnon de galère, Patrick, qui fera tout pour la réalisation de leurs rêves.

Depuis les débats sur l’identité nationale, les minarets ou la burqa, la crainte d’une « islamisation » de la société Française trouve un écho nouveau. En sillonnant le pays à bord de leur camping-car, John Paul Lepers et son équipe écoutent ceux qui souvent par ignorance ont « peur de l’Islam » et interrogent ceux qui ont intérêt à propager ces craintes.
C’est pour explorer une autre démarche que celle de l’exploitation politique ou celle du repli identitaire que le réalisateur a entrepris ce documentaire. Mais faire un film sur l’Islam c’est casse-gueule, parce que les religions, c’est sacré. Et comme le christianisme, l’Islam prétend à la vérité, ce qui est compliqué quand on veut entamer une discussion…
