Acoustic MTV is a live album by Gilberto Gil, released in 1994 as part of the MTV Acoustic series. Between the tracks are old compositions of the musician and novelties. For being one of the first in the series, produced by MTV Brazil, did not have on the cover, the logo of the broadcaster or the symbol of 'Acoustic MTV', since it followed the pattern of the North American series of 'MTV Unplugged'. Where he brought only the artist in question, in the classic image, stool and guitar, with the other musicians in the background, reading only 'Gilberto Gil Unplugged'.

LEGENDS OF THE CANYON delivers the story of the advent of rock music spawned in the garden of the Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon. Many of rock music's legendary artists of the late 1960's brought to life the anthems of a generation in these hills, in a commune-like setting. CROSBY STILLS and NASH, The Mamas and the Papas, Joni Mitchell, America,, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds and many others. Adding depth, color and certainly authenticity to the film, famed rock photographer Henry Diltz, (CSNY official photographer) contributes as narrator and with a variety of original photographs, some never before exhibited, and rare footage shot amongst the musicians' tribe of Laurel Canyon. Visually stunning, intensely captivating and musically inspiring, this CLASSIC ARTISTS' film brings us to a time and place where some refused to let go of a dream of a life where harmony ruled the Earth, their music still echoes through the hills of Laurel Canyon to this day.

This collection of 200 of the most influential music videos in Britain 1966 to 2016 is the result of a three-year University research project run in partnership with the British Film Institute and the British Library. The collection has been put together by a team of researchers in collaboration with a panel of over one hundred directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, choreographers, colourists and video commissioners from the business. Each video has been selected because it represents a landmark in music video history - a new genre, film technique, post-production method, distribution channel, or other landmark…
