Recorded on May 1, 2006 at Kentish Town Forum, Live from London 2006 features the amassed crew of Mike Patton, Buzz Osborne, Dave Lombardo, Trevor Dunn, Dale Crover and Sir David Scott Stone. Filmed by Douglas Pledger, Matthew Rozeik and Alex Gunnis the music is culled from the sole FantômasMelvins Big Band release (Millennium Monsterwork) as well as music from both the Melvins and Fantômas catalogues. Bonus feature is an audio commentary with Danny DeVito, Ipecac co-owner Greg Werckman, booking agent Robby Fraser, Melvins' Dale Crover and Buzz Osborne.

The 30th anniversary special edition of ‘Tales’ is a double disc hard back 32 page book with lots of extras, including the complete remix of the album and a DVD featuring live video footage of material from ‘Tales’ along with a host of MP3 files, original mixes, audio commentary and previously unreleased writing/rehearsal/demo material. GEP are set to release the 2013 remix of ‘Tales from the Lush Attic’ on 21st January 2013 (surprisingly enough) in both a double disc CD/DVD format and on vinyl.

Lucky Peterson is definitely a student of the blues. Since Willie Dixon took him under his wing at a very young age, Peterson has been immersed in blues. He has studied and lived it. With the release of Live At The 55 Arts Club Berlin, Peterson and company are at the top of their game. For fans, this release is a treat. For the uninitiated, this is gonna rock your world! This release is packaged as 3 DVDs and 2 CDs. DVD1 is the 1st set performance, DVD2 is the 2nd set performance, and the third DVD is “extras.” The two CDs match the music performed on the DVDs. The packaging itself is first class too; no corners cut here. An included booklet contains great photos, profiles of the band members, and a forward by Andreas Hommelsheim, who opened 55 Arts Club Berlin where this concert was filmed. The whole package is first class all the way.

On this audio complement to a home video, John Cale is heard in two concert appearances, one on each CD, filmed and recorded for the German Rockpalast television series. On the first disc, from October 13, 1984, he plays with a band consisting of guitarist Dave Young, bassist Andy Heermans, and drummer Dave Lichtenstein; on the second, from March 16, 1983, he is solo, accompanying himself on either acoustic guitar or piano. Thus, the album encapsulates the two sides of Cale, the aggressive rocker and the classically trained recitalist and singer/songwriter. Interestingly, the two sides are explored sometimes with the same songs, albeit played differently.
