Fabulous Disaster is the third studio album by American thrash metal band Exodus, released on January 30, 1989. Exodus toured for five months to promote the release of Fabulous Disaster and embarked on a month-long European tour with Nuclear Assault and Acid Reign. The band wrapped up the album tour, performing at The Fillmore in San Francisco on July 14, 1989, which was recorded for the band's first live album Good Friendly Violent Fun and released two years later.
However, things could have been different back then, because on the night of March 8, 1989 another show was recorded, a show that saw them destroy the stage of The Astoria in London! A night that went down in history and became legendary among Exodus and thrash metal fans worldwide! This recording has remained unheard and kept in the Exodus vaults until now! 35 years later this rager of a show will finally be released for the first time ever!

Had it been released immediately after it was recorded in 1984, Exodus' Bonded by Blood might be regarded today alongside Metallica's Kill 'em All as one of the landmark albums responsible for launching the thrash metal wave. But by the time it finally hit the streets more than a year later due to numerous record company-related difficulties, the genre the band helped spawn had evolved at an alarming rate (again, largely thanks to the unstoppable Metallica) and Exodus were left to wonder what kind of impact they may have had without these setbacks…

Elizabeth Cook didn't quite know what she was doing. But she knew there were songs, and they had to get out. Six even years since her critically acclaimed Welder, as well as much personal tumult, there were songs that needed to be born. From Dexter Green's (also the album's producer) opening electric guitar, equal parts foreboding and fraught, Exodus of Venus hurls a churlish witness to erotic upheaval and the drives that subsume our best notions. Exodus of Venus is an exhortation of sexual surrender that pushes past the brink of reason. If she maintains the tang of her drawl, what emerges beyond Cook's always vibrant and vivid sense of detail is a song cycle soaked in turpentine, musk and honey.

Recorded live in seven days at Berlin’s infamous Candy Bomber Studios (situated in the former Tempelhof Airport) by Ingo Krauss, the album’s title reflects the personal-political themes of the songs within. The Exodus Suite will be released in the U.S. on June 10th, 2016 via Bronzerat Records, and a first taste of the album – the soulful “There Must Be More Than This” (featuring guest pianist Carwyn Ellis).
