Live at Bubba's is a previously-unissued recording of the Jamaican jazz piano icon Monty Alexander captured live in Fort Lauderdale, FL at Bubba's Jazz Restaurant on August 6, 1982.

Monty Alexander has been one of the most popular pianists in jazz for over 50 years. Early on, his outstanding technique and wide-ranging playing were compared to the great Oscar Peterson. His unique style was to take him to the most famous stages around the world. Brought on by Oscar Peterson himself, the young Jamaican recorded his first album for MPS in 1971 - many more were to follow. "The Best Of The MPS Years" offers a cross-section of this era with all the highlights of the MPS albums!
