SLOWLY: Song for Keith Jarrett was recorded at the end of 2020, a watershed year for pianist Noah Haidu. As critical accolades streamed in for his innovative multi-media release DOCTONE, Haidu was on the verge of realizing another ambitious project: recording a trio album with one of the greatest bass and drum combinations in jazz: Billy Hart and Buster Williams, whose own remarkable collaboration began half a century ago.

New York-based Canadian pianist and composer Noah Franche-Nolan is joined by Juno Nominated Jodi Proznick on bass and Nicholas Bracewell on drums for his Cellar Live Debut. The album is a depiction of Franche-Nolan's eclectic interior musical world, filled with lyrical compositions and intricately arranged renditions of carefully picked songs from the jazz/Black American Music canon.

First of all let me introduce myself. I am a 22 year old pianist and composer from North London and I am really proud to present my debut album to you all. This record is about finding moments of solace and quiet amongst noise. The creation of the album itself was a practise of self discipline, meditation, concentration and trust in the long-term for myself. My hope is that people can find some sense of quiet reflection or poetry in listening to it; that they embrace the ebbs and flows and trial and error of everyday life that the music speaks to.
