The BROOKLYN DREAMS classic 1977 debut album finally makes it to CD for the first time anywhere in the world! The album is highly regarded amongst disco fans. The album was was a huge cult disco hit on it's original release on Casablanca Records. Singles included the Disco anthem MUSIC, HARMONY & RHYTHM as well as the Pop hit SAD EYES. OLD FASHIONED GIRL features a guest appearance from the Queen of Disco DONNA SUMMER at the height of her reign.

Like any patchy but promising debut from a classic rock group, it's often easy to underrate Queen's eponymous 1973 debut, since it has no more than one well-known anthem and plays more like a collection of ideas than a cohesive album…

For the first time complete on CD: Charles Koechlin’s Music for Saxophone. Koechlin was an important composer and music theorist at the beginning of 20th century, living in Paris, the world’s hot spot for musical innovation. His music is inspired by the impressionistic style, which was much in vogue at that time, but it voices his unique personal language, in which oriental elements are fused. He was enchanted by the then new instrument of Adolphe Sax, the saxophone, and wrote extensively for this sonorous and seductive instrument.

This 5xCD box set from Cherry Red offers a compelling look at shoegaze's prime era. Still in a Dream takes a wide trawl approach to its genre, which has upsides and downsides. As with Rhino’s goth box A Life Less Lived, shoegaze is generously interpreted to include antecedents and formative influences, which bulks up the quality.
