Monté pour la première fois sur scène il y a 25 ans, Oldelaf, vit depuis de multiples aventures scéniques, radiophoniques, télévisuelles, discographiques… mais dont le fil rouge est et restera la chanson (rappelez-vous « La Tristitude » ou « Nathalie Mon Amour Des JMJ »). Oldelaf nous présente aujourd’hui son 3ème album solo, Goliath, enregistré aux mythiques studios Ferber et réalisé par Régis Ceccarelli. Doté d’une production cinq étoiles, Goliath est un superbe hommage à la grande variété française des années 70 et 80, dont les chansons oscillent entre tendresse et humour, Oldelaf y parlant d’amour, de tolérance, de désir, d’absurdité… Bref, de lui et de nous !

Dear Prof. Leary is not only a super-rare and highly touted collectors item but also one of the earliest and strangest examples of the upcoming Jazz/Rock Fusion recordings that would soon transform the Jazz world. Originally released in 1968 on MPS, Barney Wilen And His Amazing Free Rock Band s Dear Prof. Leary l.p. was a sextet of two trios, one playing the more Rock style and the other in the Jazz idiom, complete with two drummers, producing what can only be described as psychedelic Free-Jazz. Highlights include covers of The Beatles The Fool On The Hill , Ornette Coleman s Lonely Woman and Bobbie Gentry s Ode To Billie Joe , scattered amongst the originals.

Souvent considéré comme le chanteur qui a su fusionner les traditions de la chanson française avec l'énergie et la verve du jazz américain, Claude Nougaro est né à Toulouse le 9 septembre 1929. Fils d'un chanteur d'opéra et d’un professeur de piano, il est élevé en grande partie par ses grands-parents, dévorant la musique non seulement classique mais aussi les chansons de Charles Trenet et d’Édith Piaf, ainsi que le swing américain de Louis Armstrong et Glenn Miller.

Leonard King was born in Detroit, Michigan where he has been able to absorb the multi-cultural musics of the entire metro area. He has performed with many artists such as Donald Byrd, Johnnie Taylor, Al Green, Herb Ellis, Barbara Dane, Eddie Kendricks, Pigmeat Markham, James Carter, and many others.

Originally released in 1973, "We May Be Cattle But We've All Got Names" is the groundbreaking solo debut from Michael de Albuquerque, a member of ELO at the time. This definitive reissue has been newly remastered by Prof. Stoned and features insightful liner notes by George de Albuquerque, rare photos, and session notes from the artist himself. Featuring the fiery fretwork of Patto guitarist Ollie Halsall and an all-star cast of legendary session players including Frank Ricotti, BJ Cole, and Gerry Conway, this album is a fusion masterpiece that transcends genres.
