At the fire department, the coffee gets cold – known to many as the (East) German children's book classic by the author Hannes Hüttner and the illustrator Gerhard Lahr from 1969 - is darn funny: the firefighters just want to recover from their strenuous work with a good cup of coffee, the phone is ringing again and calling for the next operation. The coffee stops untouched and Wachtmeister Meier, Löschmeister Wasserhose and the rest of the troops rush to Grandma Eierschecke in Kaffeestraße 13, where an open oven door has just set the apartment on fire. Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone. As a thank you Grandma Eierschecke puts the after all not charred cake in the bag. But who thinks that this can be eaten comfortably for the next coffee break, of course, was wrong!

lone in a Crowd is the third major-label studio album by American singer-songwriter Oliver Tree, released on September 29, 2023, through Atlantic Records.

Thomas Oliver represents the openness of the mind and the heart, both as a musician and as a human. He touches people’s lives in all corners of the globe as he draws a connection between various forms of music that could otherwise be considered polar opposites, and he invites people into an artistic perspective which is entirely unique. His warm demeanor and story-telling on stage are as much a part of his musical identity as his unmistakable falsetto-singing range, his award-winning songwriting (he was awarded the APRA Silver Scroll (Song of the Year) - award in New Zealand in 2016), his world-renowned touch on the lap-slide guitar, or his celebrated vocal contributions to the genre of Drum & Bass music (for which he was recently a finalist for the Best Vocalist Award at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards).

Founded in 1836, the Huddersfield Choral Society has developed an international reputation as one of the UK s leading choral societies. Their new recording features works that are central to the choir's musical heritage, including works by Handel, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Holst and many more.

Propaganda is Oliver Huntemann's fifth studio album, and sees him expand his sound and range over the course of 12 tracks, without losing his signature style. "Taktik" and "Poltergeist" see the German producer flirt with slower tempos, but the bass is so menacing on the latter track that its intensity is unstoppable. The pace picks up on the insane filtered builds and rolling snares of "Egoist", while recent single "Rotlicht" is classic Huntemann, all spiralling foghorns, insistent percussion and the darkest sub-bass this side of late-90s tech-step. Propaganda does contain some real surprises - like the down tempo sound scapes of "Anonym" - and the eerie electro of "Momentum", but its unifying theme are bass lines that are uniquely malevolent and multi-layered.

A collaborative musical effort with Mark Crawford's sophisticated and thoughtful arrangements elevating saxophonist Ryan Oliver's compositions to new heights. The incredibly talented 12-piece string orchestra breaths life into these songs backed by the world class Canadian rhythm section of Terry Clarke on drums Neil Swainson on bass and Bernie Senensky on piano.
