Those in the know are well aware of Bobby Marin’s work, and the fact that he was behind the scenes for some of the best boogaloo and salsa of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Yet, until now, no one has explicitly put Bobby’s name in the headline and given him his due on the cover of a properly credited Latin soul compilation. This compilation comprises twenty four essential boogaloo, Latin funk, rock and afro disco gems, each one bearing the mark of quality: “A Bobby Marin Production”, including songs by Ricardo Marrero, the Ghetto Brothers, Ocho, Louie Ramírez… A freshly curated overview of his fascinatingly complex back catalog in these genres.

Academic Bullying and Harassment

The mid-to-late '60s produced an explosion of Latin Soul, emanating a few blocks east of Harlem's Apollo Theater in East or Spanish Harlem. This compilation features the sweet harmony sounds of artists from the area - including Joe Bataan, Ralphi Pagan, the Lebron Brothers and a host of unknowns who recorded for labels such as Fania, Cotique and Speed. It also includes rare 45s by Parrish and 125th Street Candy Store. It gathers up some of the rarest and most sought after recordings of the era, including three-figure singles by Frankie Nieves, Tony Middleton and Harvey Averne which are collected by dancers, as well as Olivieri and Ralphi and the Latin Lovers which are sought-after by vocal group fans. The booklet features a wealth of rare or previously unseen memorabilia and photographs from the labels and artists. On 7th February 1857, after a delay of one year due to problems of copyright on a possible production of King Lear, Verdi accepted and signed a new agreement with the Teatro di San Carlo of Naples for an opera to be staged in January or February 1858. Not long after he had put behind the experiences of Simon Boccanegra (June 1857) and Aroldo (August), Verdi, then, had to face the issue of a new subject for Naples, which would no longer be King Lear, discarded for various reasons, and not even El tesorero del Rey by António García Gutiérrez or Ruy Blas by Hugo, to which he had given more serious thought, but Gustave III by Eugène Scribe, a play written in 1833 for Daniel Auber in which the king of Sweden is assassinated, in 1792, by a group of noblemen led by Jacob Ankarström.

Il commissario Adalgisa Calligaris è una donna dura, brusca, per niente bella ma con un'intelligenza imbattibile. La sera della finale, in diretta nazionale, un terribile incidente trasforma in tragedia il clima festoso della proclamazione e dà inizio a una serie di omicidi misteriosi.
