Sin City is the title for a series of comics by Frank Miller, told in a film noir-like style (now known as Neo noir). The first story originally appeared in "Dark Horse's Fifth Anniversary Special" (April, 1991), and continued in Dark Horse Presents #51–62 from May 1991 to June 1992, under the title of Sin City, serialized in thirteen parts. Several other stories of variable lengths have followed. All stories take place in Basin City, with frequent recurring characters and intertwining stories.

Warren Haynes et Allen Woody, tous deux ex-Allman Brothers, forment Gov't Mule en 1994 et livrent un premier album éponyme dès 1995, certificat de naissance d'un groupe naviguant entre rock sudiste, hard rock et blues avec un fort penchant psychédélique et une tendance aux jams aussi longues qu'enfièvrées. C'est ainsi sur scène que Gov't Mule dévoile tout son potentiel et bâtit sa réputation, comme en témoigne le nombre de disques live à son catalogue de Live at Roseland Ballroom (1996) à Mulennium (2010) en passant par Live…With a Little Help from Our Friends (1999) ou The Deepest End (2003). En outre, nombreux sont les musiciens de renom à avoir répondu aux invitations du groupe, parmi lesquels Billy Gibbons, Flea, Bootsy Collins, The Black Crowes, Steve Winwood ou encore Dr John, attestant du potentiel illimité de l'entreprise.

The City Light Symphony Orchestra, founded in Lucerne in 2018, presents its debut album with the 100-minute program "Spotlight on John Williams“. For the project acclaimed soloists such as Valentine Michaud, Reinhold Friedrich and Paul Meyer could be assigned. Together with the 90 musicians of the City Light Symphony Orchestra and the up-and-coming conductor Kevin Griffiths, they recorded a selection of film music masterpieces by Hollywood icon John Williams in the concert hall of the KKL Luzern in September 2020 – with a deliberate focus on his great stylistic diversity.
