Limited edition CD-R 100 copies- Released for bandcamp subscribers in Sept 2019 and for the rest of the world on Oct 25th, 2019. This was a very powerful show from the band and a great mix by Jonathan.
This album was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden on Dec 4-6th, 2015. This session was less improvised but recorded in several improvised layers with a few special guests joining in as well. The music is much more synthesizer based with KG playing amazing 70s inspired synths and organ, as well as bass, guitar, and sitar. Dr Space creating spacey sounds and drones, while Love performed a spoken word, and providing all the drum and percussion parts. The addition of Violin and Santoor really took the two Indian inspired pieces (Khan Paan, Øscilations in D-Minor) to another level. A fantastic instrumental, Kraut inspired ethnic musical journey!
This is an acoustic instrument record with members of Siena Root. It features chilled out Eastern guitar, sitar, hand drum and synthesizer pieces. All improvised. "West, Space and Love" is a meditative and captivating album to place alongside artists like Daevid Allen's "Sacred Geometry" that successfully fuses ambient, electronic and ethnic/world elements to create an intoxicating and timeless psychedelic spacey journey.
ØSC had been at the Black Tornado recording back in November but our friend Gary (Yawning Man) was in town and wanted to jam. It had been a long time since the main touring band of ØSC (Nick, Jiri, Mogens, myself) had been in the studio. We grabbed Martin, who plays with Nick, Jiri and Mogens in the Univerzals as well as with Jiri in his band, Fri Galaxe to play drums. He had played quite a few gigs with us in Denmark the last years. Nicklas from Papir, was a great choice to play with Gary as both are fans of each other and we love to play with Nicklas. We had a cool band.
Live from the Sneaky Snake Festival at Urban Spree in Berlin, Germany on June 2nd, 2018. It was the last show of a 9 concert tour and the band was on fire! Epic guitar solos and one mind-blowing synth solo to complete an amazing musical tour. Enjoy!
Very interesting debut by this Swedish outfit, re-released in 2008. Sound and style reminds slightly of bands like Hawkwind and Ozric Tentacles, and there's some obvious similarities to Öresund Space Collective too; which isn't a surprise as these two bands have some mutual members. Recommended for fans of improvisational sounding space jams, in particular those who fancy this style of music with a 70's sound.
