ZAKK SABBATH are back with an even more massive dose of pure BLACK SABBATH worship! Celebrating more than 50 years of Birmingham's most famous four, the 'inventors' of heavy metal are being honoured by the preeminent tribute trio led by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde with the double album "Doomed Forever Forever Doomed". This loving tribute contains the Americans' brilliant take on BLACK SABBATH's second and third full-lengths, the classic heavy metal masterpieces "Paranoid" (1970) and "Master of Reality" (1971).

Masters Of Black Masses was a 2CD bootleg from Black Sabbath featuring two concert performances. One is from 14 January, 1971 before the band released Master Of Reality (the band had not yet entered the studio to record their third album); the other was from 15 September, 1972, a week before they released Vol. 4. Some of the songs in the 1971 show feature alternate lyrics in the songs that were not used on the final album. The album also features what are called "Pre-Album Mixdowns", alternate versions that were mixed but not released. The 2CD set ends with two songs from their first demo sessions. It is also funny to hear Ozzy Osbourne introduce the songs to the crowd in a mundane manner. The live recordings were recorded from the audience. CD released by The Godfatherecords.

Black Sabbath made a two-pronged comeback in 1980 and 1981 when Ronnie James Dio joined their ranks as their new lead singer for the platinum albums, Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules. On the 1982 Mob Rules U.S. tour, they decided to record shows to create the first official Black Sabbath live album. With material drawn evenly between songs written with Ronnie as well as older classics such as “War Pigs” and “Iron Man,” when Live Evil was released at the end of 1982, it represented an accurate and powerful memento of Black Sabbath Mk2 on their second world tour.

With its dark, mystical and obsessive sound, Black Sabbath built a unique brand that has influenced countless groups since its inception in the late 60s until today. As usual in our series The Many Faces, we will take you into the fantastic and great world of Black Sabbath. We will revisit his forgotten collaborations, its best songs and the artists (and even music styles) that the band have influenced.
We started with Disc 1, entitled "The Players (and more)" that features musicians who have been part the band. To begin with, who else than Tony Iommi, the founding guitarist and the only member who has been in all the band s formations…
