Japan developed a nationwide network of highways in the 7th century linking towns and villages, many starting from the ancient capital of Kyoto. TV personality Becky embarks on a solo walking trip on the old Sasayama highway from Kyoto to Sasayama in Hyogo Prefecture. Along the way, she passes a castle town and stunning rural landscapes. She experiences traditional culture, such as Japanese puppetry and swordsmithing. Slipping back to a different, slower time, Becky discovers her Japanese heritage anew and a bit about herself.

During a film's post-production, Foley artists recreate sounds then will match the moving image on-screen, using whatever objects are at their fingertips, from hundreds of pairs of old shoes to clunky old tools and squeaky mattresses. But how will Hollywood's low-tech sound artists survive as digital technology consumes modern movie making?
