Princess Emmy is a young girl with a secret gift - she is the only one in the Kingdom of Kandis who can speak to horses. Up until now, life for Emmy has been wonderful: exploring and hanging out with her best friends - a stable full of amazing horses; spending time with her family at the castle and not having a care in the world. That is until her jealous, scheming cousin Gizana appears; challenging her at every turn, threatening Emmy's chances of becoming an officially inaugurated princess and generally making her life hell. And on top of all that, Emmy must undergo the ultimate test to earn the right to keep her gift. If she fails, she loses the gift and her best friends forever. There is a huge amount at stake for such a little girl.

The second in a series of musical installments from Tony and Emmy Award–winning singer/actor Mandy Patinkin and pianist/producer Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman)—Diary: April/May 2018—is out today on Nonesuch Records. The digital release's fourteen songs were recorded by the two musicians in Bartlett's New York studio in the spring of this year. Crossfire Publications have set a May 28, 2012 release date for a 5-CD set of recordings from the pre-Mothers era, with many tracks making their CD debuts. The set is entitled "Paul Buff Presents Highlights From The Pal And Original Sound Studio Archives." Paul Buff, owner of Pal Recording Studio in Cucamonga, California from 1957-1964, first opened up his archives in 2010 for a large series of download-only releases. This 156-track collection features 58 early masters by the late Frank Zappa, recorded at Pal and Original Sound Recording Studios. These recordings feature Zappa as performer, writer and/or producer.

John Lunn’s music possesses a wonderfully unique voice that spans a wide spectrum of musical styles. Classically trained, yet contemporary in attitude, he combines a highly intelligent and sensitive approach with a sound that always hits at the emotional heart of a piece. His scores, which match the highest production values with a continual desire to discover new colors and sounds, are continuously in high demand. He is probably best known for scoring the hugely successful flagship ITV/NBC/PBS/Carnival Films drama, Downton Abbey, for which he has received two Primetime Emmy Awards, in 2012 and 2013 (with a further nomination in 2014), and two BAFTA Nominations, in 2012 and 2016. John is currently scoring the upcoming Downton Abbey Movie, due to be released on 13 September 2019.
