Proceedings of The 61st International Conference of Machine Design Departments Icmd 2020

This book gathers selected papers from 2023 International Conference on Mechanical Design (2023 ICMD), held in Chengdu, China. The main objectives are to bring the community of researchers in the fields of mechanical design together, to exchange and discuss the most recent investigations, challenging problems and new trends, and to encourage the wider implementation of the advanced design technologies and tools in the world, particularly throughout China. The theme of 2023 ICMD is “Innovative Design Drives High-Quality Development”, and the event devotes to providing an excellent forum for the scholars all around the world to share their innovative ideas, cutting-edge research results.

This volume gathers the proceedings of the Joint International Conference of the XIII International Conference on Mechanisms and Mechanical Transmissions (MTM) and the XXIV International Conference on Robotics (Robotics), held in Timişoara, Romania. It addresses the applications of mechanisms and transmissions in several modern technical fields such as mechatronics, biomechanics, machines, micromachines, robotics and apparatus. In doing so, it combines theoretical findings and experimental testing.

The conference is a venue for multidisciplinary research contributing to the design, assessment and analysis of cooperative systems and their integration in organizations, public venues, and everyday life. COOP emerged from the European tradition of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Cognitive Ergonomics as practiced in France.
