On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of their first double-disc album, this box of 5 CDs recounts the musical adventure of the P'tits Loups du Jazz troupe: choirs of children aged 6 to 14 accompanied by professional jazz musicians under the direction of Olivier Caillard, choir conductor, jazz pianist and pedagogue. Traditional and modern jazz, Caribbean or Brazilian music and original compositions, are the support for the creation of texts by children, who appropriate this repertoire alive and too rarely played for them. A 6th bonus CD, includes the instrumental parts of some songs of the Little Wolves whose great success "Mamadou had a toothache", as well as an unpublished Christmas song and several titles of the Olivier Caillard repertoire from the catalog of the Enfance label and Music. "A gift that will delight young and old!"

Pour son premier enregistrement chez Ligia, l’organiste Jean-Charles Ablitzer a choisi de revenir à l’un de ses orgues préférés, celui du temple de Belfort. En effet, par le passé, il nous avait proposé déjà deux enregistrements sur cet instrument, évoquant au travers des titres le Nord, par le voyage, le souffle ou son école avec le présent album. Il est vrai que l’orgue du temple Saint-Jean de Belfort est exceptionnel. Construit en 1984 par Marc Garnier, suivant les principes de la facture d’orgue nord-allemande magnifiée au XVII° par Arp Schnitger, cet orgue représente un modèle magnifique et sans compromis, de ce que furent ces instruments, portés au sommet par une école d’organites d’une incroyable fertilité et d’une immense variété. De plus le buffet a été copié sur des originaux, et celui ci n’est pas sans rappeler tel ou tel orgue célèbre. On pense à Altenbruch (près d’Hambourg) en particulier.

Lully's tragedie en musique, Atys, with a text by his favored librettist, Philippe Quinault, was one of his greatest operatic successes and was significant for setting a new standard for a distinctively French approach to opera. While Lully's operas have not entered the repertoire, they have fared well on record thanks to the efforts of some top-notch early music ensembles, and this 2010 performance of Atys featuring Hugo Reyne leading La Simphonie du Marais and Le Choeur du Marais is a superb addition to the composer's discography.

With these recordings - which mark the launch of the Stradivari collection - discover the unique instruments lovingly preserved at the Philharmonie de Paris’s Museum of Music: the finest examples of the art of instrument-making which, like the iconic harpsichord crafted in 1652 by Ioannes Couchet, are given a new life thanks to the skill and commitment of its keen conservators. When this ‘national treasure’ is entrusted into the hands of an expert like Christophe Rousset, the magic is evident. As the sumptuous sonority of Louis Couperin’s music is revealed, poetry meets fantasy.
