Rachmaninov Liturgia Crisostomo

In un lugubre seminterrato di una città imprecisata è in corso un violento interrogatorio condotto dalla polizia segreta. Il comandante Otchaptenko chiede al prigioniero, accusato di spionaggio, di raccontargli la sua infanzia, in modo da far luce sul suo peculiare gruppo etnico. L'uomo ricorda allora, in una vertiginosa mise en abîme, un altro interrogatorio a cui era stato sottoposto, all'età di tre anni, da un misterioso zio. Si spalanca così un universo inquietante, popolato di personaggi indefiniti, sorta di temibili golem che abitano un sovramondo degno di Moebius, in un dedalo di palafitte che emergono da pozzi insondabili, traballanti passerelle e scalette di corda.
