Almost any parent you asked would tell you that they want their children to be happy, successful adults. But many of us forget (or never knew to begin with) that lasting personal joy is not necessarily found the way the world says it is - through reaching a certain socioeconomic status, having a certain job, buying a certain house, or having a certain amount in one's bank account.

The New Orleans music scene has always been a playground for trombonist, arranger, composer, producer and Miracle Meaux band-leader Maurice Trosclair. Born a Crescent City native from Pigeon Town in the Carrollton area of New Orleans, he was inspired by his musical family to pursue a life in music. At the young age of 2 he took the stage with the legendary traditional New Orleans Jazz band, Dunc's Honky Tonks "The World's Youngest Dixieland Band." To this day, he is deeply committed to the preservation and exploration of all indigenous forms of New Orleans music including funk, jazz, rock and pop.

Ṣukūk markets have grown significantly worldwide since their emergence— in Islamic jurisdictions as well as conventional jurisdictions including the US, the UK, Germany, China, France and Singapore. The practices of ṣukūk markets, however, have come under close scrutiny.
