Partendo da un analisi dettagliata e documentata delle profezie contenute nell’Apocalisse, gli autori tracciano una linea retta che va dalle visioni di san Giovanni Battista ai nostri giorni, disegnata in un continuo alternarsi tra Bene e Male. Spunto di riflessione e filo conduttore di tale cammino è la celebre Lancia di Longino. La tradizione vuole che sia stato proprio questo centurione romano a trafiggere con la sua lancia il costato di Gesù che agonizzava sulla croce, permettendone così la resurrezione e decidendo, pur senza saperlo, le sorti del genere umano. La leggenda afferma che chiunque entra in possesso della lancia acquisisce automaticamente un potere immenso, sia nel Bene che nel Male.

With decades of friendship uniting them, two towering figures in music and entrepreneurship - David Friesen, an acclaimed bassist and musical visionary for 50 years, and Bob Ravenscroft, pianist, maker of the Ravenscroft Grand Piano and a force in Arizona's cultural landscape, elected to surrender control to the musical spirits in creating their first duo recording. Disney's Hero Songs, Volume 3 is a 9-song compilation of songs from various Disney motion pictures, released in 1996. The CD was one of three separate CD's sold individually in a series of discs released by American fast food restaurant McDonald's and was released via Walt Disney Records.

Disney's 1997 and 2006 reissues of the Mary Poppins soundtrack augmented the classic original release with a handful of demos and interviews, which is enough bonus material to attract collectors, but not enough to overshadow the wonderful qualities of the music. Mary Poppins contained some of the best-known (and best-loved) songs from any Disney film, including "Chim-Chimeree," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," "A Spoonful of Sugar," and "Let's Go Fly a Kite." The music has lost none of its charm over the years, and it stands as some of the finest music from a movie musical in the last half of the 20th century.
