In her interpretation of Telemann’s Fantasias, Małgorzata Malke takes her listeners on a journey to 18th-century Poland, a land which Telemann often visited, drawing inspiration from Polish folk music. “In my interpretation of the 12 Fantasias, I decided to follow the path of Polish influences in Telemann’s compositions, looking for traces of the composer’s love for Polish music,” says Małgorzata Malke.

All this richness comes together to form a fascinating and beautiful story I would like to invite you to enjoy!"

"Children Of The World" is a 1976 album by the Bee Gees. The first single, "You Should Be Dancing", went to #1 in the US and Canada, and was a Top 10 hit in numerous other territories. The album has sold over 2.5 million copies. It was the group's 14th album (12th internationally). The album was re-issued by Reprise and Rhino Records. This was the first record featuring the Gibb-Galuten-Richardson production team which would have many successful collaborations in the following years. The album was released in September 1976. Four singles were released. "You Should Be Dancing" in June 1976 (UK) / July 1976 (US); "Love So Right" in September 1976; "Boogie Child" in January 1977; and "Children of the World" in February 1977. "You Should Be Dancing" went to #1 in the US. "Love So Right" and "Boogie Child" reached #3 and #12 respectively in the US. "Love Me" was a hit for Yvonne Elliman and "You Stepped into My Life" was recorded by Wayne Newton in 1979. Barry Gibb felt that other tracks could also be hits.

Vol. 1: A comprehensive collection of the highly influential blues pioneer's 25 earliest works, recorded in 1937 and 1938. (Note: This is the Sonny Boy Williamson who was murdered in 1948, not the one who toured England with the Yardbirds in 1963).
Several of these songs, of course, have become blues standards, particularly "Good Morning School Girl," which has been covered countless times (the Yardbirds, Ten Years After, and others), and there's a surprising variety here; "Got the Bottle Up and Gone," for example, has an obvious jug band feel to it that's thoroughly at odds with the haunted sound of "Decoration Blues," or the proto-swamp "Up the Country Blues" (a song that clearly influenced Slim Harpo).

Love's Been Rough on Me is the twentieth studio album by Etta James, released in 1997 through Private Music. The album reached a peak position of number 6 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart. Love's Been Rough on Me is a terrific latter-day album from Etta James, capturing her at the peak of her powers. James' voice has diminished only slightly over the course of her career, and she knows how to make such warhorses as "I've Been Loving You Too Long" sound fresh. She also invests contemporary music, including John Berry's contemporary country hit "If I Had Any Pride Left at All," with real soul. The result is a record that delivers the real goods with grace and style.

The Bee Gees' second R&B album, Children of the World, had the advantage of being written and recorded while the group was riding a string of Top Ten singles and the biggest wave of public adulation in their history off of the Main Course album. The group felt emboldened, but was also hamstrung by the absence of producer Arif Mardin, whose services were no longer available to them now that RSO Records had severed its ties to Atlantic Records. So they produced it themselves, all six bandmembers doing their best to emulate what Mardin would have had them do, with assistance from Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson.

Off the back of Sarathy Korwar's much lauded Day To Day album comes the live album My East Is Your West - a performance that takes the fusion of Indian classical music with the jazz tradition further than its ever been before. Recorded live at London's Church Of Sound, the album is a homage to the great musicians of the 60s and 70s spiritual jazz movement, covering the likes of Alice Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders, and Joe Henderson. Korwar plays alongside the UPAJ Collective, a group of highly-versatile musicians who share Sarathy's passion for jazz and Indian music and who have together managed to rebalance the cross-cultural relationship between 'Western' and 'Eastern' music.

For Bob Marley collectors, the Holy Grail has long been an obscure seven-inch, blank- label single released in 1968 in a tiny edition of 26 copies, called "Selassie Is The Chapel." Adapted from the Orioles' doo-wop hit, "Crying in the Chapel," the Marley single contained new lyrics especially written for him by his one-time Rasta mentor Mortimo Planno. Recently a copy was offered for auction, receiving a high bid of $3,800! Now, at long last, that nearly priceless rarity is available to the public, along with other long-lost treasures from the Wailers' late '60s Jamaican catalog like "The Lord Will Make A Way," "Tread Oh," "Feel Alright," "Rhythm," "Give Me A Ticket" ("The Letter"), "Trouble On The Road Again," "Hold On To This Feeling," "Black Progress," and "Sugar Sugar."

In the opening line of her album When I Look Down That Road, Melissa Manchester basically sums up the latter half of her career: "I've been walking through the smoke of a thousand burned-out dreams, so hard to shake the ashes of the past from my feet." As she knows all too well, there are sad circumstances in which the business of music envelops an artist so tightly that the creativity and passion are sealed away. In the '70s, Manchester blossomed as an important singer/songwriter responsible for such classics as "Midnight Blue," "Whenever I Call You Friend," and "Don't Cry Out Loud."

Creed Fisher is proud to be a redneck, placing his good ol' boy status at the center of his hard Texas country. He named his 2016 album "Rednecks Like Us," a sign that he's eager to embrace everything politically incorrect about country, but his music is firmly rooted in traditional country that stretches back to the days of Hank Williams.
