this is an amazing disc released by the great german high roller records label, the cd consists of demos/rough mixes and a few moniter mixes of tracks from rock city and narita as well as a few that never made either record, these where all recorded between 1976 and early 1981 ( a song or two must have been intended for the swords album in 81) regardless all this stuff has been in the can for decades and has finally seen the light of day this year in 2018…

Nightbreaker is the eighth studio album by the American heavy metal band Riot. It was the band's first with vocalist Mike DiMeo, as well as the studio debut of guitarist Mike Flyntz and bassist Pete Perez. The album was released in Japan by Sony Music in 1993, in Europe by Rising Sun Productions in 1994, and finally re-issued in the United States by Metal Blade Records in 1999, all with different cover artwork. A very limited run of CDs, bearing the Combat Pay Music label and utilizing the Japanese artwork, was also produced in 1993 by the band's management.

Quiet Riot is a rock & roll phenomenon. Widely known as the first heavy metal band to top the US pop charts, the Los Angeles quartet became a global sensation thanks to their monstrous smash hit 1983 album, Metal Health. That album topped the Billboard album charts for several months and the follow up album, Condition Critical went double platinum. The band has continued to record and tour throughout their 30 + year history. Hollywood Cowboys is the fourteenth studio album by the band Quiet Riot. It is their last album with voaclist James Durbin as he quit in September 2019 and was replaced by previous vocalist Jizzy Pearl. Musically, the new album offers exactly what you would expect from QUIET RIOT. Arena ready hard rock with strong hooks and infectious riffs, along with a maturity in the songwriting that only a band with such a history and pedigree can offer.
