Jazz Maynard est un trompettiste virtuose, un cambrioleur professionnel et un homme au grand cœur. Enfant, avec son ami Teo, il a dû apprendre bien vite les lois de la rue dans le quartier d’El Raval, à Barcelone. Il a bien tenté de fuir à New York, mais son passé l’a rattrapé… Ainsi, de retour, il retrouve Teo, son ancien ami Judas, sa ville et les désagréments qui l’accompagnent : vols, bagarres, flics corrompus, scandale politique…
