Erwan Castex is the living proof of the immortality of Jean-Michel Jarre. Under the name of Rone, the Frenchman now orders the field of well-sounding electronics with MIRAPOLIS for the fourth time, which takes their references to cinema seriously - as a cipher for "great feelings". He could also have set the new "Blade Runner" to music, so dystopian and at the same time late-throated pulsing and streaking this music to itself. His guests include such illustrious figures as John Stanier of Battles and Bryce Dessner of The National, for whom he has already worked as a futurological sound expert. Everything revolves around simple melodies, often arpeggios, which repeat themselves and sometimes break off before it becomes too sweet.
