Run The Jewels, the lauded duo of El-P and Killer Mike, release their feverishly anticipated new album, Run The Jewels 4. This eleven song, 40 minute powerhouse is their more ferocious and focused effort to date, and sports a lineup of all-star guests including Pharrell Williams, Mavis Staples, 2 Chainz, Zack de la Rocha, Josh Homme, DJ Premier and Greg Nice.

Run The Jewels are back with a deluxe edition of last year’s awesome RTJ4, headlined by a new remix of “Ooh LA LA” featuring none other than Lil Wayne. The set also features remixes by What So Not and Royal Blood and “No Save Point” from the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack, as well as instrumental versions of all 11 album tracks.

Gazing into the night sky, El-P and Killer Mike know they are needed as their symbol of pistol and fist is lighting up the night. With a quick glance at one another, they nod in recognition that world is ready for RTJ3, the third and possibly final installment to a trilogy of albums unlike the world has ever heard before. Featuring even more gems from almost every musical genre and spanning across multiple decades, Baby Driver Volume 2: The Score For A Score includes more memorable songs from the movie, exclusive tracks and special remixes that mirror the unique experience of the movie as well as dialogue excerpts from the film, and the unreleased score by Oscar winning composer Steven Price. This special album follows Music from the Motion Picture Baby Driver, the song soundtrack from Edgar Wright’s critically acclaimed, music laden blockbuster film Baby Driver.

Part of what makes Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA such a natural pair is that they stick out in similar ways. They’re too weird for the mainstream but too confrontational for the subtle or self-consciously progressive set. And while neither of them would be mistaken for traditionalists, the sample-scrambling chaos of tracks like “Burfict!” and “Shut Yo Bitch Ass Up/Muddy Waters” situate them in a lineage of Black music that runs through the comedic ultraviolence of the Wu-Tang Clan back through the Bomb Squad to Funkadelic, who proved just because you were trippy didn’t mean you couldn’t be militant, too.

Danger Mouse and Jemini Finally Releasing 2004 Album Born Again.Danger Mouse and Jemini are finally releasing their collaborative sophomore album, Born Again. Recorded between 2003 and 2004, the LP will drop on August 25 via Lex Records. The famed producer and New York rapper are previewing the album with new song “Brooklyn Basquiat,” which you can hear below. Back in 2003, Danger Mouse and Jemini unveiled their debut full-length together, Ghetto Pop Life, to underground fanfare. The two immediately returned to the studio to hash out new material together, and those recording sessions would culminate in Born Again less than a year later. But the LP was indefinitely shelved, making its release nearly 20 years later the first time these songs will be heard. Last year, Danger Mouse shared his collaborative album with Black Thought, Cheat Codes. It includes the singles “No Gold Teeth,” “Aquamarine” (with Michael Kiwanuka), “Strangers” (featuring A$AP Rocky and Run the Jewels), and “Because” (with Joey Bada$$, Russ, and Dylan Cartlidge).
