Sage Gardens Cozy Mysteries

Eminent representative of the French piano school, the pianist Eric Le Sage offers a new album in the form of a poetic walk in the secret gardens of 22 French composers of the late 19th and early 20th century.Between the Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties, around two world wars that had to be healed, in the vertigo of all the rebirths and that of progress on the march, music also needed calm, humanity and natural intimacy. While twenty-two French composers cultivate their secret soul, in a few piano miniatures, electricity, the gramophone, the little queen, the Parisian metro … are already inviting themselves into people's daily lives.

French star trumpet player Lucienne Renaudin Vary releases Jardins d'Hiver, a relaxed and laid back winter album. Lucienne's idea for Winter Gardens was to recreate a cozy atmosphere, as if she invites her fans to a hygge home concert. Repertoire includes: Blane Ralph, Martin Hugh, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, perfect for Christmas playlisting, Antonin Dvorák: Slavonic Dance Op. 72, Johann Sebastian Bach: Badinerie. All tracks arranged for Trumpet and Chamber Orchestra. Album was recorded with Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, conducted by Sascha Goetzel.
