Ruby is the first release of our Boutique Drums series. We consulted with our drummer Brian Scoggin (Casting Crowns) who curated a kit comprised of truly boutique drum pieces for this release. We also chose to record at Hey Hey Studios in Griffin, Georgia for it's outstanding acoustics and engineering; a remarkable space providing a tasteful balance of both room and character.

The Second Kosmology Installment has arrived, created exclusively for Kosmology, the advanced Sequencing system for Kontakt 5. In comparison to Awakenings it has a slightly harder edge, and also includes a few more FX type sounds with lots of movement which are interesting when modulating the Sample Start Position. It was designed using a DSI Evolver and takes advantage of both the Analog and the Digital side of this amazing instrument. All sounds were created from scratch for this collection and definitely bring the Evolver’s unique ‘sound’ into Kosmology for Sequencing Fun.

Hammered Acoustic Guitar (HAG) is the result of „playing“ an Ibanez AE acoustic guitar with drum sticks and brushes. In order to make it punchy and powerful we used two steel strings and tuned them to same pitch. This way we could maintain a slight modulation of the sound, a beat frequency.

At a glance Vesper is a double engine themed rompler, geared towards “bells and twinkly things” type of sounds. But it hides a powerful randomiser engine, a twin step sequencer and a “Trails layer” which adds motion to each patch.
