For the first time since its creation, George V Records has teamed up with another Parisian label. And not just any, as we are talking about French Kitchen, the creator of the famous "Cocobeach", "Aum" and "Story" parties. In this project, Sam Popat (resident DJ of the Buddha-Bar Paris) slums on a double album with Sucré Salé (Cocobeach), Animal & Me (Story) and Popof, a legend of Electronic music (Founder of the Heretik sound system). On the first CD, pour only remixes from the Buddha-Bar catalog, prepared by Popof and his associates. Vargo is a project of producer Ansgar Üffink, who founded the project in the year 2000. From 2001-2014 Stephanie Hundertmark was the singer of Vargo. After the great success of 'Get Back to Serenity' in 2001, which was included in countless compilations, they were able to produce their first album 'Beauty'. Ansgar's repertoire reaches from downbeat, trip hop and ambient pop to deep and latin house. His tracks are part of almost all internationally well-known compilations. Among them multiple Café del Mar (also ‘Very Best Of…’), Buddha Bar, Space Night, Bar Lounge Classics and countless others all around the world. Vargo’s mission is part of every project: to bring inner peace, serenity and joy of life through the music. To remember people believing in themselves and to support each other. Life is a precious and exciting journey full of magic and there is only one direction: forward.

Kaya Project is the musical incarnation of Seb and Natasha Taylor. Based in the UK, the duo has achieved a name of world renown via their anthology of eclectically flavoured asian dub/ world fusion albums 'Walking Through' (2004), 'Elixir' (2005), '…And So It Goes' (2008) 'Desert Phase' (2010) and 'Firedance' (2014).
Seb plays guitar and many other instruments as well as adeptly handling the programming and production, while Natasha contributes vocals, keyboard and flute throughout the compositions…

Nick Brennan aka Tripswitch has been involved in the music industry for many years an accomplished guitarist who's played in everything from punk, rock, blues and jazz bands, he co-ran a commercial recording studio and rehearsal rooms in London in the late 90s. Now a renowned chill-out DJ and producer, Nick's 'Tripswitch' project has seen widespread critical acclaim and established his place in the A-list of downtempo artists. As well as a long list of compilation inclusions, including selection by the likes of Jose Padilla (Cafe del Mar), Claude Challe (Buddha Bar) and Nick Warren (Way Out West / Global Underground), Nick's 2005 debut long-player 'Circuit Breaker', was immediately hailed as a classic in its genre. Now with a brand new CD of remixes from the likes of Gaudi, Manasseh, Eat Static, Youth vs Subsonar, Mirror System and Shiloh this package will be released as a double cd including the original 2005 album.

Riccardo Eberspacher is an Italian composer, producer, and arranger whose music has previously appeared on some of the Buddha Bar and Chill Out compilations. Information on him is scarce, but this would seem to be his debut recording. If you've been puzzled by the term lounge music, or if you ever idly wondered whatever happened to the new age music movement, this CD will give you some meaningful answers.
