Lita Rossana Ford is a British-American rock guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, who was the lead guitarist for The Runaways in the late 1970s before embarking on a solo career in the 1980s. Following the breakup of The Runaways, Ford set about launching a solo career. Her debut solo album, entitled Out for Blood, was released in 1983. The original cover art for this album featured Lita standing in front of a spiderweb holding a broken blood-spurting guitar. It was later replaced with a cover of Lita standing in front of a purple background with her guitar. The album's artwork saw Ford adopting a very heavy metal-inspired image, an image she would maintain for much of the next decade.

Though former Runaways guitarist Lita Ford has been absent from the recording industry since 1997, she hasn't exactly been idle. After releasing Kiss Me Deadly, her final album after a string of them in the '80s and '90s, the music scene – and the industry with it – changed, and alternative ruled the airwaves. Ford got married to Jim Gillette, former vocalist with hair metal rockers Nitro, and started a family. In addition, she relocated to the Caribbean. Wicked Wonderland is uncharacteristic of the pop-metal she released a decade ago. It's an in-your-face metal record, but ultimately it's a very studied and calculated 21st century pop-metal record.

Hard Rock, Glam Metal | Deadline Music / Cleopatra Records #CLP1863

Cleopatra Records offers up this live set by glam metal queen Lita Ford. Recorded in 2000, the album comprises material from her first six solo albums, the most recent of which prior to this recording was 1995's Black. Her major chart hits "Kiss Me Deadly" and the Ozzy Osbourne duet (sans Ozzy) "Close My Eyes Forever" are both here, and she sounds remarkably vibrant playing for a small club's worth of hardcore fans. Her voice and guitar playing are in good form, though there are moments here that sound like obvious overdubs or pre-recorded parts, like the way-too-clean backing vocals on "What Do You Know About Love." Still, most of it has the fire of a hard-rocking band playing in a sweaty rock club, which is what fans would want from one of the founding Runaways.

Hard Rock, Glam Metal | Camden #74321 512002

This album contains a collection of classic tracks from Lita Ford's back catalogue. Seventeen killer cuts from the original glam-metal, rock chick - dark, deadly and dangerous to know! One of two solo stars to spring from the ashes of the '70s all-girl hard rock band the Runaways, Lita Ford has long been a more frustrating, contradictory proposition for critics than former colleague Joan Jett. Ford is subtly feminist in her musical approach, displaying guitar heroics on the level of any male metal hero; the mere fact of her existence in the otherwise testosterone-driven heavy metal genre has made her a hero to some, but her persona has often been criticized as calculated to appeal to male adolescent sexual fantasies, simply embodying the standard wild-girl stereotypes of many male metal artists' lyrics. When she has the material to back her up, though, Ford is inarguably capable of rocking out aggressively and assertively.

Dangerous Curves is the fifth studio album by American hard rock/heavy metal singer and guitarist Lita Ford, released in 1991. Though it was a popular release and received heavy video rotation on MTV, the album was not as successful as its predecessor, as musical tastes were shifting towards alternative rock in late 1991. The album charted on both the US and UK charts in 1992 and the single, "Shot of Poison", was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 1993. This was Lita Ford's second Grammy nomination since 1984's "Dancin' On The Edge".

Dancin' on the Edge is second solo album by Lita Ford. It is also her last release with Mercury Records before she left to sign with RCA/Dreamland Records. This album featured Ford's new back up band made up of drummer Randy Castillo (who later played for Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue), Aldo Nova on keyboards and featured the bassist Hugh McDonald, who is currently the hired studio/live session bassist for Bon Jovi. Dancin' on the Edge surpassed the success of her debut Out For Blood in both sales and airplay. Her videos for the singles, "Gotta Let Go" and "Dressed to Kill" were also featured in heavy rotation on MTV. The latter video featured a cameo by Ford's then fiancee, Tony Iommi.

On the track "Wild Thing", Ace Frehley plays the opening guitar riff while Lita Ford performs all the song's guitar solos.

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce the signing of British rock singer Chez Kane to the label. A talented, young vocalist who fronts, with her two sisters, the band Kane'd, she was brought to the attention of the label after conversations with Danny Rexon of Crazy Lixx about the possibility of him scouting and producing some exciting new talent. Subsequently, Danny started working on some demos with Chez and the label did not pass up the opportunity to get involved with this incredible talent. Chez's debut solo album embraces the melodic rock style that both she and Danny so admire, while adding a new twist to the current takes on the genre.
