Britain's Got Talent stars The Jive Aces are the UK's # 1 jive and swing band. Renowned for their high energy show, they put Simon Cowell "in a really good mood" and were the first band to reach the BGT semi-finals. They've headlined The Albert Hall, played 30 countries, worked with Van Morrison and played for The Queen. This latest album, the band’s 12th, marks the 20th Anniversary of this line up. "Diggin' The Roots Vol. 1: Rockin' Rhythm & Blues” is inspired by the early influences that generated that initial enthusiasm and lit the flame that started the Jive Aces off on their musical journey. Such influences include Big Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Ruth Brown and the great Louis Prima who was the single biggest influence on the band.

Having become the first ever band to reach the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent following up with a performance for Her Majesty The Queen as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, The Jive Aces have truly established themselves as the UK's top Jive & Swing band.The band are renowned for their hot, swinging music and high-energy stage show playing songs made famous by such greats as Bobby Darin, Louis Prima and Sammy Davis Jr. as well as a selection of superb originals.Their album, "King of the Swingers: A Salute to Louis Prima" was recorded in Hollywood, California and features very special guests such as Kenny Ball, Ray Gelato and Toni Elizabeth Prima (daughter of Louis Prima and Keely Smith)…

Vol.2 of Diggin' The Roots, this time exploring the branch of "Hot Jazz" that influenced our sound. some fresh arrangements of well loved jazz classics.

Spread A Little Happiness, is the band's 8th studio album, was recorded at Chick Corea's state of the art former studio in Hollywood, the Mad Hatter Studios, and features original tunes such as their recent single, La Dolce Vita. The 12 track album is full of classic and original songs guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. The album also features Hollywood pin-up vocal & dance group The Satin Dollz on an up-beat version of In The Mood. Being inspired by thousands of their fans constant praise of your music just makes me feel happy, lead singer Ian Clarkson commented: We listen to our fans, and wanted to create an album which gave them the very reason why they love the band's music.

Swing This, Baby!, Vol. 2 concentrates on the sort of ironic swing-with-a-smirk that made up a not inconsiderable portion of that particular mid- to late-'90s retro craze. It does have "Jump, Jive An' Wail," but not the original by Louis Prima or the hit cover by the Brian Setzer Orchestra but rather a version by the Crescent City Maulers; it's good, but not quite up to the level of the former two. Other groups present include Hipster Daddy-O and the Handgrenades, the Atomic Fireballs, the Ray Gelato Giants, the Dino Martinis, and Blue Plate Special, among many others.
