Billboard Chart-Topper Jazz Artist U-Nam is back with a brand new album “Surface Level”. U-Nam says: "I’m very excited about this new album and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it and recording it. The album has a mix of everything I love, Funk, Smooth Jazz, Soul and a little bit of new influences. The Past Builds The Future is the first album by U-Nam. Accomplished producer, composer and guitarist U-Nam is best known for his #1 hit “Street Life” on the US Billboard charts in 2007. But it isn’t just in Smooth Jazz that he has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with, he is also well-known as a respected songwriter and producer in France in the Pop and R&B genres having worked with artists such as Barry White, Kool & the Gang, Billy Paul, French Pop-Idol, MC Solaar and more. U-Nam has had the opportunity to perform in Russia, Dubai, Malaysia, and tour the US and Europe as part of major festivals.

Fiery French guitarist U-Nam (Emmanuel Abiteboul), who now calls L.A. home, makes his triumphant return with a celebrated collection of tunes that showcase the true breadth of his guitar prowess. His mastery of the instrument is Un deniable. Unanimity is a fresh mix of Neo-Soul, Funk, Jazz, Pop and R&B, and showcases the many sides of the man who owned the radio charts in late 07 with his top 5 dynamic read of the jazz classic Street Life , breathing new life into a track that had all but been forgotten. From the super funk laced offering Funk 4 U-nity , the George Benson-esque My Heart & Soul to the all out buckle U-rself in, four-on-the-floor jam Soul-ism, U offers a little somethin for everyone and should aptly wet the whistle of his growing legion of U.S. fans.

“Sunshine of Mine” is the latest album from Billboard chart-topping artist and multi-platinum producer Emmanuel “U-Nam” Abiteboul. An eclectic concoction of eight original compositions plus two carefully crafted covers it opens with the easy grooving title cut that takes its name from the love U-Nam has for his six year old son Myles who, quite literally, is the sunshine of his life. Indeed, the sumptuous “Little Dreamer” again underscores the bond a father has with his son. From mellow beginnings that gradually evolve into a pulsating beat, U-Nam calls on the combined artistry of Kim Hansen on keys and Michael White on drums yet still stays at the epicentre of the entire piece.

2007 release from U-Nam, the French guitarist with a unique name and an acrobatic, soulful and sweet melodic style. Back From the 80's finely crafted music is firmly rooted in funky smooth Jazz but crossing into genres as excitingly diverse as R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock and Chill. This remarkable album offers fresh versions of classic and lesser-known gems from the `80's. But even more remarkable are U-Nam's brand-new songs inspired by his favorite songs from the decade. The CD gets a boost from the musical stylings of U-Nam's musical partner, Frank Sitbon, who co-wrote some tunes, played keyboards and sang background vocals.

Start with Benson-esque guitar skills, add just a hint of Sinatra s smile, a touch of Buble s sophisticated swagger and a real big band playing real jazz with a real swing and what you have is magic, what you have is U-Nam Goes Big Band . Coming off the back of a scintillating 2019 that saw him enjoy huge chart success with his 2 sensational albums Future Love Parts 1 and 2 (that reached #20 on the Top25 Billboard Jazz Best Selling Album Chart and #8 in the Contemporary Jazz category) this is an exciting new direction for U-Nam to take but, with nine Top30 Billboard radio hits already to his name and an approach recognised as always innovative and often daring, his reputation for shaking the musical world to its core is already firmly in place.
