If you love the keyboard saturated, yet ballsy sound of Biloxi’s debut, as well as Tour De Force (World on fire), with the slick AOR charm of Simon Says and 1st Avenue, look no further than massively produced- harmony backing/lead vocal drenched indie hard rock/AOR debut from THE CAST. Essentially, one could say this was the Canadian version of Mark Free’s “Long way to love” album… almost too similiar in style/vocal/keyboard/guitar delivery. Ignore the cover art- I know, it looks boring… open up the case and you see a band that not only had the 80s hair metal look but the absolutely perfect late 80s AOR/hard rock/glam sound. From start to finish one of the best indie AOR/hard rock albums of 1993. “Do You Feel” and “Look Out” are simply incredible.
