Beloved by children of all ages around the world, Elmo is an international icon. Few people know his creator, Kevin Clash, who dreamed of working with his idol, master puppeteer Jim Henson. Displaying his creativity and talent at a young age, Kevin ultimately found a home on Sesame Street. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, this documentary includes rare archival footage, interviews with Frank Oz, Rosie O’Donnell, Cheryl Henson, Joan Ganz Cooney and others and offers a behind-the-scenes look at Sesame Street and the Jim Henson Workshop.

Harold Mabern is a living legend of jazz piano. Born in Memphis, he is considered one of the foremost living post-bop pianists today. His ensemble credentials include working with Cannonball Adderly, Eddie ''Cleanhead'' Vinson, Lee Morgan, Sonny Rollins, George Coleman and virtually all of the significant voices in jazz in the last fifty years. Here he is captured live at Smalls Jazz Club with the rhythm team of Joe Farnsworth on drums and John Webber on bass. His rollicking good-time feel covers a lot of material including the ''Sesame Street'' theme.

Maynard Ferguson’s triumphant return to classic jazz! After moving to the U.S. from Canada in the 1940s, Maynard Ferguson gained prominence through his association with Stan Kenton in the following decade. Striking out on his own, he appeared on numerous film soundtracks (including The Ten Commandments), eventually forming his own band. A relocation to England in the 1960s, he became a fixture on the BBC’s Simon Dee Show before returning to America later that decade, scoring pop hits and playing the closing ceremonies at Montreal’s 1976 Olympic Games.

From the thrilling opening crawl through 'Tin Roof Blues' to a strutting 'Sesame Street Theme' with some plunger mute magic all the way to the appropriately nostalgic 'Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans' closer, this recording gives the listener a glimpse of the captivating, real and true soul and spirit of Delfeayo Marsalis.
