On Crossfire the band extend their reggae style further than other Jamaican bands, using keyboards, samples, and moving into the fields of dancehall, soul, rock and electronic music. This makes them very successful when playing their famous concerts, but it's hardly accepted by reggae purists, limiting the sales of this studio recording on their home market, Jamaica.
