One Serbian army battery in the First World War, in forced march with no stopping and rest, arrives to Cer and, in decisive moment, enters the fight and throws off Austrian troops which penetrated into the country. This is not only the chronicle of Cer battle, but Serbian drama and drama of one nation who made impossible possible during the fight against the empire which wanted to take away their country. This drama is based on credible events and authentic documents.
Luna et Amar, jeune couple de Sarajevo, tentent de surmonter les obstacles inattendus qui menacent leur amour. Renvoyé de son travail pour alcoolisme, Amar croise, par hasard, un ancien camarade d'armée converti au wahhabisme qui lui propose un nouveau travail. Malgré les réticences de Luna, Amar accepte ce travail qui va pourtant les éloigner l’un de l’autre, tant moralement que physiquement. Au bout de quelque temps, sans aucune nouvelle d'Amar, Luna obtient l'autorisation de lui rendre visite sur son lieu de travail. Elle découvre alors une communauté bien à part, qui vit comme au siècle passé, sous surveillance.
Two men fight to make a life for themselves – and eventually for the damaged woman they come to love.
Twelve-year-old Alena (Dita Kaplanová) has had to leave the countryside on a blazing hot summer day and come back home to a block of flats on the outskirts of Prague. She spends most of the day on her own, amusing herself daydreaming and imagining, on the blazing hot building roof awaiting the rain. Her mother (Ladislava Kozderková) is at work all day and her friends are still away on holidays. Alena is keen on the actor Budil (Jirí Bartoska) and puts on her best clothes for him each day, running out onto the street carrying her mother's handbag.
On June 28th 1389, at Kosovo Polje, an army of the Serbian Prince Lazar made a stand against the advancing Ottoman forces of Sultan Murad, resulting in a great battle which would later inspire Serbian folk tales and poems about courage, sacrifice, betrayal and tragedy. The movie was made for the 600th anniversary of the event.
