"Bitches Brew" is a pivotal document in music history. Widely considered one of the greatest jazz albums ever made, it is Miles Davis’ first Gold-certified work. The music legend continues his experimentation with electric instruments, bridging together jazz and rock. Davis’ innovative masterpiece mixed the best elements of free jazz, electric rock textures and blues phrasings. It is one of Q Magazine’s “Best Jazz Albums of All Time” and one of Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. It reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums and won the GRAMMY for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Performance.

The sleeve tells you so much about the process. It's a picture of a lone figure. Suited up and immersed in interplanetary protective gear, he walks out across unmapped terrain. In the distance, a mountain range towers over the roughly gridded sand he's striding. This is very much a solo mission - giant steps into the unknown. Inside the helmet, there's all the uncertainty and madness that such a pursuit brings.

"Construction Time Again" is Depeche Mode's third studio album and was released in 1983. It was engineered by Gareth Jones and recorded at John Foxx's Garden studios in London. The album featured the band's first use of a Synclavier; the band members used this instrument to incorporate "found" sound samples from their neighborhood, manipulating them with the Synclavier. The sounds used on the album consisted mainly of hammering anvils, clanging pipes, running water, and other similar sounds.

Composed between 1909 and 1912, these 24 Preludes can be considered as a «pianistic sum» in the work of Claude Debussy, but also more generally in the literature for the instrument. They are part of a tradition which, since the 24 Preludes and fugues of the «well-tempered clavier» of Johann Sebastian Bach continued with Frédéric Chopin, then Serguei Rachmaninov, Alexander Scriabin, Olivier Messiaen.
