Designed to perform a million tasks, in a millions different shapes and sizes, the incandescent lightbulb illuminated human existence and enabled the world to finally and truly find its way out of the dark. Over the generations, this old filament-syle lightbulb and the various offspring have served humanity well. Indeed, the very concept of a brilliant idea is most often signified by this single iconic image.

Soundiron's Elektronik 25 captures the rare, historic sounds of the unique Elektronika EM-25. This synthesizer was manufactured somewhere in the Soviet Union and has since become a bit of a collector’s item. The EM-25 is a polyphonic synthesizer with a strong focus on strings, organ and brass. It has a 4-octave keyboard, as well has a variety of knobs to control the envelope, modulation and filter.

Sick 6: 666 - The sickening is a horror-themed cinematic and trailer sound effects library for professional composers, sound designers, re-recording mixers, animators, film makers and game developers. It includes over 4GB of sound designed content, with over 1000 stingers, boomers, impacts, stabs, hits, swells, falls, risers, playable pads, drones and ambiences and more. We carefully crafted each sound with a variety of tools and techniques, using organic instrument, sound effect and environmental field recordings as our raw source material to create uniquely nuanced, dynamic and vivid scoring elements that are perfect for any horror, sci-fi, drama, suspense or action scene or project.

Soundiron Motor Rhythms is a unique drum kit, crafted from raw automobile parts by musical artist and mechanic Jordan Hill. He carefully selected, assembled and welded together parts from all manner of auto makes and models. We came to his workshop to record each piece in precise detail, with both close and far microphone positions.

Voltage Bass is a four stringed electric bass guitar with hot pickups, wide tonal range, and a versatile sound ready for any genre of music. We put it through its paces, sampling 30 notes of fingered sustains, palm mutes, picked palm mutes, picked chokes, and harmonics with up to six velocity layers and eight round robin. We captured E1 to C#4 with a mic’d amp for steel character and beefy flavor, and direct line in for a transparent clean tone perfect for adding your own amps and effects.

Yumtone H4 is pure digital magic. This Japanese FM synthesizer called the Electone HC-4 was introduced to the market by Yamaha in 1987. It featured two 44-note keybeds, a foot pedal system, drum/rhythm machine, velocity sensitivity, 16-operator FM voices, and a variety of buttons to control volume, instrument type, auto accompaniment, and tempo. The Electone series started as organs in the late 1950s, but transitioned to digital synthesis in the 1980s with advances in integrated circuit technology. Our library includes synth sustains, staccatos, piano, vibraphone, bells, tempo-syncable drum machine loops, hits, and key SFX. We recorded the instrument articulations in wide stereo and direct line in. After that, we crafted 20 evolving ambient pads from the source content to boost usability, and 20 custom FX presets to ignite your next composition. Yumtone H4 presents a delicious digital sampler platter of a classic FM synthesizer, complete with piping hot tonal flavors ready to complement any genre of music.

The Kalimba is a modernized version of the ancient African Mbira, also often called a thumb piano. It has a humble, melodious percussive plucking sound with a marimba-like warmth and tonal body. It is often used in conjunction with pianos and other tuned percussion instruments to add a sharper attack and playfulness to the sound. Our instruments were made of wood and coconut shell, with hammered steel tines suspended over their sound holes. The notes span about an octave and a half for the smaller of our two instruments and over two octaves for the larger kalimba.

Harmonic Tides is an aetherial sound-designed string library crafted from delicately resonant cello and double bass string harmonics. Soundiron collaborator Pierce Constanti created Harmonic Tides with the specific goal of making a uniquely expressive textural sound designed instrument ideal for film scoring. His goal was to create a custom scoring tool that could be just as expressive, versatile, and nuanced as a typical orchestral string library. It's perfect for modern arrangements and film/game scores whenever lush swells and huge waves of intense feeling are called for.
