From the earliest, unknowing days of the pandemic sprang Corrina Repp’s seventh solo album Island. Resonant and resolute, the album is suffused with peaceful energy, touching on universal themes while existing as a document of Corrina’s inner life during that time.

Corrina Repp is a singer/multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. In the early 2000s she recorded three albums before drawing the attention of Mark Kozelek who released her fourth album - "The Absent and the Distant" - on his label, Caldo Verde. In 2007 Corrina and fellow musician Joe Haege (31knots, Vin Blanc / White Wine) formed Tu Fawning. Over the following five years, they recorded an EP and two albums (both released on City Slang) and toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, to great public and critical acclaim.

Now comes Corrina Rose Logston. This young lady brought a love for music both instrumentally and vocally. This, her first instrumental work, defines a very straight forward and honest concept of bluegrass music as it was and is today. During her teen years, she studied the bluegrass masters and rehearsed playing fiddle tunes till she nailed it. Before graduating from Belmont University, she began planning her entrance into the world of the professional music industry. On her fifth full-length album, How A Fantasy Will Kill Us All, songwriter Corrina Repp charts a path through the unknown. Fueled by a desire to start over and make a clean break with Portland, where she’d lived for 21 years, and where she released a string of albums on HUSH and Mark Kozelek’s Caldo Verde label, played with her band Tu Fawning, and appeared semi-regularly on the parody comedy series Portlandia, Repp headed across the country. The promise of a new relationship was waiting for her, but it wasn’t to be. Turning away from the failed relationship after three weeks, Repp made survival a full-time occupation. Stowing her possessions in a storage unit in Woodland Hills, California, and leaving with no real plan, Repp embarked on a nomadic journey that would shade her music for years to come.

Hotel Portofino is a period drama television series created by Matt Baker. The six-episode first season first was released on BritBox in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2022 and is expected to air on ITV at a later date. It premiered on Sky Italia on 28 February.The show was renewed for a second season.

After delving into the piano works of Francesco Pennisi, Stefano Cascioli tackles the exploration of the work of Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas. He is now engaged for Stradivarius with Farkas and Italy - Baroque Inspirations, the first volume of the series with the publication of the complete works for piano.

In recent decades, Johann Sebastian Bach's (1685–1750) works have undergone numerous transcriptions and adaptations. Since the 1960s, the guitar repertoire has seen the addition of several Bach pieces originally intended for the lute, an instrument that is undoubtedly among the most akin to the modern six-string guitar. Following the increasingly in-depth study of Bach's work and the spread of the classical guitar, several harpsichord pieces have also been transcribed and performed. This album magnificently displays these pieces by exploiting the rich dynamics and full polyphonic capacity of the guitar.
