Excellent Swedish jazz. It's definitely highly influenced by free jazz and the avant-garde but it's still quite accessible.

On the Corner is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer Miles Davis. It was recorded in June and July 1972 and originally released on October 11 of the same year by Columbia Records. The album continued Davis's exploration of jazz fusion, and explicitly drew on the influence of funk musicians Sly Stone and James Brown, the experimental music of Karlheinz Stockhausen, ideas by composer Paul Buckmaster, and the free jazz of Ornette Coleman.

On the Corner is a studio album by jazz musician Miles Davis, recorded in June and July 1972 and released in 1974 on Columbia Records. Drawing on funk and rock music, the work of experimental composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, and electronic recording techniques, it was in part an attempt by Davis to reach a younger African American audience. Instead, it became one of his worst-selling recordings and was scorned by establishment jazz critics at the time of its release. It was also his last studio album of the 1970s; for the remainder of the decade he recorded haphazardly and focused instead on live performance before temporarily retiring from music in 1975.

The C Sides Project, originally known as just "C Sides", was founded in the early 2010s from 3 ex-members from "Magenta". In February of 2020, they released their fourth full length album called "Purple Hearts Corner". Two of the original founders, Martin Rosser (guitar) and Allan Mason-Jones (drums, percussion) are still with the band who is also made up of Allen McCarthy (vocals, bass), Sian Elson (additional vocals), and Kevin Dawson (keyboards, piano). This album is made up of 5 fairly long tracks, and follows their usual sound (as of late) of a light progressive sound that sits somewhere between Neo-prog and Crossover Prog. Melody, heaviness, catchy repetitive motifs, nice piano lines, samples, all put together with inspiration.

Well they are finally back after a decade away and the worry was will it be as good as previous releases. Well the good news is that it's not as good, it's even better! This is probably the bands strongest release. The line up is the same as previously, William Kopecky ' bass, Dan Maske ' keyboards, Angela Schmidt ' cello & Craig Walkner ' drums with the addition of guest Jerry Loughney ' violin. It still features all the rehearsal intensive composed music but rocks and bounces like a beast. For fans of Univers Zero, Henry Cow, DAAU, with 20th century classical composer references in a rock setting this is a must have.

As the drummer of insanely popular folk-rock band Boy & Bear, the majority of Harts musical life is spent behind the drum kit - touring the world, singing back-up vocals, and contributing songwriting to the award-winning Sydney groups beloved songs and spirit. This high-profile existence pushed Hart to make his 2012 debut album, 'Milling the Wind,' a bare bones folk record. "Something that wasnt so meticulous and thought out," he says now. But for his second album, 'The Narrow Corner,' concept was shunted aside for life experience.
