Like Omigod! The 80s Pop Culture Box (Totally) is a seven-disc, 142-track box set of popular music hits of the 1980s. Released by Rhino Records in 2002, the box set was based on the success of Have a Nice Decade: The 70s Pop Culture Box, Rhino's box set covering the 1970s. Like Omigod! includes a 90-page booklet of cultural comment, a timeline for the decade, and liner notes for the tracks included in the set. As does Have a Nice Decade, the tracks tend to be from the lesser-known artists who were one-hit wonders, although music from the best-selling artists of the era are also included. In addition, many of the 1980s musical styles — rock, pop, country pop, new wave, funk, disco and rhythm and blues — are represented.
Japanese original release. Special box set release from The Doors contains 28 tracks total, including 17 ones available as CD format for the first time. EP covers faithfully replicate the ones released from Victor from 1967 to 1972.
Born during the revolutionary and musically-rich '60s, Psychedelic Rock provided a platform for British and American musicians to experiment not only with hallucinogenic drugs, but also with new sounds that included elaborate studio effects, non-Western instruments -such as sitar and tabla-, disjunctive song structures and surreal and esoterically-inspired lyrics. The Psychedelic Rock Box is a 6XCD compilation that showcases the work of the genre's most prominent artists and many of the essential tracks from that era. The Fuzztones, Arthur Brown, Spencer Davis Group, The Deviants, Sun Dial and Plasticland are only a few of the performers included in this definitive collection of the genre. With fantastic artwork and remastered sound, The Psychedelic Rock Box is an fundamental addition to your rock music collection. And remember that it is not available on streaming platforms!

This four-disc, budget-priced box set does an effective job of chronicling the majority of the John Denver's biggest hits during his lengthy tenure with the label. The track listing is in chronological order, beginning in 1969 with "Daydream" and concluding with live versions of "Matthew" and "This Old Guitar" from the 1995 album The Wildlife Concert…
Stocked with all of the hits, as well as a few more deep cuts than 2009's like-minded yet far more ornate and lengthy Do What You Want, Be What You Are: The Music of Daryl Hall & John Oates, this 2014 four-disc box set may not have all of the bells and whistles of its predecessor, but it's got a better price point and would serve most casual fans (and some hardcore ones) well, especially those looking for something a little more substantial than the standard single-disc career overview and a little less expansive than the 74-track Do What You Want, Be What You Are.
