Considered by the public and critics among the best Italian drummers, Ariano, thanks to his musical versatility, boasts collaborations with international jazz musicians, including George Coleman, Johnny Griffin and Benny Golson and Italian pop artists such as the singer-songwriter pianist Sergio Cammariere, with whom he collaborates since 18 years, Lucio Dalla and Renzo Arbore. Amedeo Ariano has chosen for this recording work the trio formula, using two talents from the contemporary jazz scene: Luca Bulgarelli on double bass and Francesca Tandoi on piano and vocals. Triplets is a musical journey that starts from tradition to get to more modern languages, with a fun spirit and the desire to transmit emotions. The CD includes 8 tracks, including standard rearranged, an original song entitled 'BulgArianTandoj' and two songs sung, one of which, 'You do not Know me', dedicated to the great Ray Charles.
