Solo drumming is an art that few musicians can manage beyond the fringe of audience comprehension. Terry Bozzio first got his start as the drummer for Frank Zappa's backing band during the '70s, but would go on to become one of rock's most versatile session men, and form one of new wave's most visually exciting outfits, Missing Persons, along with then-wife Dale Bozzio. Born Terry John Bozzio on December 27, 1950 in San Francisco, CA, Bozzio began playing on makeshift drums at an early age, before taking formal lessons at the age of 13 (inspired by the Beatles' infamous appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show).

At long last, it's finally here. Roughly 8 years in the making, The Majestic Sailors' debut album The Salty Sardine is a concept album that came about from a silly senior prom photo taken in 2010. After many years on and off from the project, it's finally a finished product and I'm super happy with the result. It's been a HUGE learning experience and I'm already thinking of ways to improve my workflow on my next project. I hope you enjoy this album and look forward to more music from me in the future!

TB is the alias of Permanent Vacation label co-head Tom Bioly. His releases as TB so far are "Invitation To Love" on John Talabot's Hiverned 10" imprint (was voted amongst the best 10" releases by UK Fact magazine), and "City Girl" on Permanent Vacation, of which German Groove magazine wrote "..entirely superb..". "Heartbreak Hotel" is a double twelve-inch release with eight tracks of melancholic dance noir set in smoke-filled darkness. Acid bobbles, distorted strings and echoed guitars are mangled and layered on machine beats and disco drums.
