Kohei Matsunaga aka NHK yx Koyxen will release his next album on DFA Records in October. Exit Entrance is the Japanese techno artist’s first record for the veteran New York label. According to a press release, the album’s eight tracks cover “elegant arrangements and crisp drum breaks”. The album closes with ‘Outset’, a “somber hushed techno tune” dedicated to the late Mika Vainio, who collaborated with Matsunaga on several records over the years.

Sad as it is to report, Crazy Taxi just isn't very much fun anymore. Though they were once shining examples of over-the-top, wacky-as-heck arcade driving games, the original and its sequels have not been treated kindly by the years, a fact highlighted by Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars for the PSP. This release includes Dreamcast ports of both Crazy Taxi and its follow-up, Crazy Taxi 2, then tosses in a bit of ad-hoc multiplayer, and calls it a day. What it doesn't do is adjust the game in any way, shape, or form for modern times. The shallowness of the gameplay is likely to turn off anyone who isn't intensely nostalgic for all things Crazy Taxi. And even those folk will likely take umbrage with the sluggish gameplay and dodgy controls in this version.

Sandy-voiced French singer and actress Louane Emera aka Louane (born Anne Peichert) found fame as a contestant in the second season of France's The Voice in 2013. Though she didn't make the finals of the singing competition, she was cast as one of The Bélier Family in the 2014 film, which featured her singing several songs including Michel Legrand's "Je Vole." She won a César Award for Most Promising Actress for the film. That same year, she released her first single, "Jour 1," which hit the Top Ten in France; "Je Vole" climbed to number two; and she appeared on two covers collections, We Love Disney, Vol. 2 and La Bande à Renaud, Vol. 2. Her debut album, Chambre 12, arrived in 2015 and went to number one on France's album chart, also charting in Belgium and Switzerland.
