The Alternate Abbey Road is a 1997 bootleg CD by The Beatles. Consisting primarily of outtakes from 1969's Abbey Road, this is different from the CD of the same name released by Pear. This edition comes from Walrus.

The Alternate Shaved Fish is a 2005 bootleg CD by The Beatles co-founder John Lennon. Released by Pear Records, it features different versions, demos, and love performances of songs from his greatest hits album, a variation of the original Shaved Fish released in 1975.

When the Darmstadt teenager Volker Kriegel (1943-2003) officially debuted his first chords in the late 1950s, the guitar was still an outsider instrument in jazz. It could boast a few luminaries, but actually everything was still open when, in 1963 and 1964, the autodidact from Hessen won first prizes as guitarist and soloist at the amateur jazz festival in Düsseldorf.
